It’s especially an honor for Kate Middleton, who turned out to be a wonderful stepmother for Prince Harry. According to The Daily Mail , Kate Middleton’s friendship with the Duchess of Sussex is growing stronger. The two have been spotted enjoying a coffee together in London and had dinner together recently.
The British Royal Family is about to embark on a very public and very, very awkward hiatus as the middle child of Prince William and Kate Middleton prepares to leave the spotlight and marry. After the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the only family members left in the public eye will be William, Kate, and their kids.
The Duchess of Cambridge, Meghan Markle, and Princess Eugenie are said to be reaching out to each other in the wake of the Duchess of Sussex’s pregnancy announcement.
British royal family news reveals that Meghan Markle, the second child of the Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry, and her first daughter Lilibeth were born in early June. Before their arrival, the feud between the Sussexes and the rest of the royal family had reached a peak, and the relationship between Princes William and Harry was so strained that the once close brothers rarely spoke to each other.
But Kate Middleton, who is close to her siblings, wants peace between the two brothers and their families so that her and Meghan’s children can have a close relationship.
Duchess Kate seeks reconciliation with Meghan Markle
Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle weren’t particularly close, but Kate’s efforts could lead to a future reconciliation.
Kate has been in much more contact with Meghan since [Lilibeth’s] birth, sending [notes and] gifts and trying to improve their relationship, a source told Us Weekly. The company has asked its staff to communicate more with Harry and Meghan to soften their voices.
Even before the Sussex couple finally left the rank of top royal couple and moved across the ocean to a base in Montecito, California, tensions existed between Kate, 39, and Meghan, 39.
After the move, the Sussexes apparently sharpened their disagreement during an interview with Oprah that aired on CBS. In the interview, Meghan Markle and Harry opened up about their social lives and made a number of accusations against the royal family.
Speaking about her experience with the royal family, Meghan blamed the press for complicating her relationship with sister-in-law Kate. If you love me, you don’t have to hate her. And if you love him, you shouldn’t hate me, she said then.
Meghan also reportedly denied the story that she made Kate cry days before their wedding in May 2018, saying it was actually the other way around.
The opposite is true. … A few days before the wedding, she was upset about the bridesmaids’ dresses and it made me cry. It really hurt me, the former actress said. The week of the wedding was very difficult. And she was upset about something, but she admitted it and apologized. And she brought me flowers and a letter of apology.
After the taped interview aired, a source told Us Weekly that Kate believes there was a misunderstanding between her and the Suits alum.
Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle’s divorce begins
Meghan Markle distanced herself from Kate Middleton when her spouses started arguing. William reportedly tried to talk to Harry about Meghan harassing his employees, to which Harry responded by defending his wife, prompting William to separate their household.
They’ve never been that close, but the reason they’re not talking is because of the breakup between Prince Harry and Prince William, an insider told the Us publication. Harry and William haven’t communicated with each other often in the past year, but none of their interactions have been friendly since. The brothers have a real animosity towards each other and this has affected the relationship between Meghan and Kate, making it very difficult for them to be friends or even boyfriends.

Although tensions have long existed, recent efforts to bridge the gap have never been greater.
We are all thrilled with the joyous news of the arrival of baby Lily, wrote William and Kate, who share Prince George, 7, Princess Charlotte, 6, and Prince Louis, 3, in a joint statement via Instagram. Congratulations, Harry, Megan and Archie.
During Kate’s royal walk on June 11 with first lady Dr. Jill Biden, she excitedly said she was looking forward to meeting Lilibeth when an interviewer asked if she had seen the newborn via FaceTime.
We haven’t met her yet. I hope it happens soon, she said.
