There were only a few guests present at the event: Prince William, Prince Harry, Diana’s two sisters, her brother and members of the committee responsible for creating the statue.

Kate Middleton and her three children did not attend the official unveiling of the statue.

Out of respect for Princes Harry and William, the royal family wanted the ceremony to be just for Diana’s sons and not a big public event, a source told Us Weekly.
